Fine Art School Photos

frame-worthy
school portraits

A simple backdrop with beautiful, soft light puts all the focus on the child's face and personality.

Portraits don't have to be stiff, awkward or forced.

Hello there!

My name is Jennifer and I'm a portrait photographer serving the St. Louis, MO area. I want to give you a fun, stress-free photo day experience that results in gorgeous images your parents will cherish for years to come. Sound too good to be true? I don't think so!

Forget everything you know about the traditional portrait experience. No cheesy backdrops, fake smiles, or pre-paying for confusing "package deals." Parents get to see photos before they order and only pay for the ones they love!

I take care of the organizing and planning. You will have three main responsibilities:

School photo day can be fun!

1) Promoting photo day to your school or group. (I provide flyers and graphics!)
2) Providing a space for photo day to take place.
3) Distributing print orders to parents (I will package and organize print orders).

Pricing

No up-front fees. Parents pay only for the photos they love! When you register below, you'll receive my price sheet as part of your welcome e-mail.

What's Included?

  • 5-10 photos of each child are edited in color & black and white.

  • Photos are delivered to parents through private, password-protected online galleries. Digital copies and prints can be purchased directly from each gallery. I organize all print orders and deliver to your school for distribution.

  • Complimentary teacher and staff photos for school and teacher use.

  • Class composite available on request.

  • Yearbook photos available for an additional fee. (Fee varies based on volume and image requirements.)

Siblings

Special scheduling for sibling photos available on request.

location & Setup

Your school or group will need to provide an indoor space for the photo event to take place. I use my own artificial lighting so the space you provide does not need to have a window. I will need to be able to turn off overhead lights.

insurance

I maintain liability insurance for my business and can extend a certificate of coverage for schools, venues and events.

Working with me

Step One:
Register your event

Click on the button below to fill out a short form with your contact info and some details about your school You'll receive an automated response with more details on how photo days are run. We'll schedule a time to talk on the phone and when you're ready to move forward, we'll get your event on the calendar!

01.

Step Two:
Promote your event

I make promoting photo day easy! You'll receive a flyer that's ready to print and display, or e-mail to parents, as well as graphics you can use on your website and social media accounts. Your school or group will get it's own private landing page on my website where parents can register for photo day, and get more details, including a prep guide designed to take all the guess work out of photo day!

02.

Step Three:
Photo Day Schedule

I work hard to make photo day work for you! I'll get your school's class roster and details about your normal routine. Then I'll draft a custom schedule that fits your needs and work with you to make changes as needed.

If you're scheduling a photo day for a homeschool co-op or a group or pop-up event that does not have a class structure, I'll create a place on my website for parents to schedule a specific time slot for their photos.

03.

Step Four:
Helping Parents Getting Ready

After your photo day details are all set, I'll create a private landing page on my website for your school or group. You will direct parents to this single page for all their photo day needs! They'll fill out a quick registration form and receive my prep guide that includes guidance on choosing outfits. my current price sheet, and information regarding the ordering process.

04.

Step Five:
Photo Day!

I work hard to make this a fun experience for everyone involved. Each session lasts 1 to 5 minutes, depending on your scheduling requirements. I will gently guide children into different poses while we chat, laugh, and create beautiful photos, with genuine, natural expressions.

05.

Step Six:
Photo Delivery

I will edit the best 5-10 photos of each child in color and black & white. Parents receive a link to a password-protected gallery where they can purchase digitals and order prints. Digitals are available for immediate download. Print orders are placed all together and delivered to the school, organized by each family's last name, so it's easy for you to distribute orders to parents.

06.

Thank you!

I truly want your photo experience to be stress-free and enjoyable. Thank you for considering me to photograph your special memories! Please contact me if you have any questions.
